    85

Lower makes the file smaller, higher keeps more detail.

SVG is a vector file; choose how large the WebP will be.

Everything happens in your browser. Your files are not uploaded.

    How it works

    1. Choose your SVG files

Drop them into the box, choose them on your device or paste with Ctrl+V.

    2. Converted automatically

Each file is converted to WebP straight away in your browser.

    3. Download

File by file, or everything at once as a ZIP file.

A raster copy for the web

The converter draws your SVG at the size set under Size (1×, 2× or 4× of its own width and height) and saves the result as WebP, keeping transparent areas. WebP images are small and every current browser shows them, so this is a handy format where an SVG is not accepted: image fields in some content systems, social media previews, email builders and marketplaces.

    SVG is usually smaller

For a simple logo or icon, the SVG itself is normally smaller than any pixel image and stays sharp at every size. Keep using it directly on your own website with an image tag. WebP is the better pick for a complex illustration with gradients, shadows or filters, which makes a heavy SVG but compresses well as pixels.

    Quality and size

    • Quality starts at 85. Flat colours with sharp edges show compression sooner than photos, so raise it to 90 or more for logos and compare the preview with the original.
    • Size. Choose 2× for standard screens and 4× for large display or high-density screens. If your SVG has only a small viewBox, such as 24 × 24, use 4× to avoid a tiny image.

If you need the picture in a format that every program accepts, SVG to PNG is the safer choice. If the destination wants a solid background, use SVG to JPG.

    Frequently asked questions

Is WebP smaller than my SVG?

Not usually for simple logos and icons. For complex illustrations with gradients and shadows it can be, and it works where SVG is not accepted.

    Is the transparency kept?

Yes. Areas of the SVG without fill stay transparent in the WebP.

    Which size should I pick?

The default 2× is fine for most uses. Choose 4× for large display or when the SVG has a small viewBox.

    Is my SVG uploaded?

No. The WebP is made in your browser, so the SVG never leaves your device. Logos and drawings of unreleased work are not sent anywhere. There is no limit on file size or number of files, apart from your device's memory.
