SVG to PSD converter

Convert SVG to PSD in your browser: your files are never uploaded, there is no limit on how many you convert, and the vector is drawn at the size you choose and saved as a flat Photoshop file. Drop in one SVG or a whole batch and download the PSD files straight away.

    SVG to PSD

SVG is a vector file; choose how large the PSD will be.

Everything happens in your browser. Your files are not uploaded.

    How it works

    1. Choose your SVG files

Drop them into the box, choose them on your device or paste with Ctrl+V.

    2. Converted automatically

Each file is converted to PSD straight away in your browser.

    3. Download

File by file, or everything at once as a ZIP file.

From vector to a Photoshop file

Your SVG is drawn at the size set under Size (1×, 2× or 4× of its width and height) and written as a flat PSD with a transparent background. Use it when a mockup, a poster or a composite is made in Photoshop or a compatible program such as Photopea, GIMP or Affinity Photo and you want the logo or illustration as a ready pixel layer.

    The vector is gone

The result is pixels: you can no longer edit the shapes or scale them up without blur. If you want to keep editing as a vector, open the SVG in Inkscape, Illustrator or Affinity Designer, or place it as a linked or smart object in Photoshop itself. Use this converter when the PSD is just a container for the picture.

    Choose a generous size

Because pixels cannot be enlarged without softness, render big: use 4× if the logo will be shown large. You can always scale a bigger layer down in the editor without loss, but not the other way around. The PSD stores its pixels uncompressed, so large sizes mean large files, and the file is plain RGB with an alpha channel for the transparency.

The result has one layer. For a transparent PNG of the same size, SVG to PNG is a much smaller file; PNG to PSD can turn that PNG into a PSD later if you need to.

    Frequently asked questions

Does the PSD have separate layers for the parts of my SVG?

No. The whole drawing is one flat layer. To keep parts separate, import the SVG into Photoshop directly.

    Is the transparency kept?

Yes, as an alpha channel. Areas of the SVG without fill stay transparent.

    What size should I choose?

Choose larger than you think you need, such as 4×. You can scale a big layer down in the editor, but you cannot scale a small one up without blur.

    Is my SVG uploaded?

No. The PSD is made in your browser, so the SVG never leaves your device. Logos and drawings of unreleased work are not sent anywhere. There is no limit on file size or number of files, apart from your device's memory.
