SVG to TIFF converter
Convert SVG to TIFF in your browser: your files are never uploaded, there is no limit on how many you convert, and the vector is drawn at the size you choose and saved as an uncompressed TIFF. Drop in one SVG or a whole batch and download the TIFF files straight away.

For print programs that need TIFF
Some print shops, layout programs and image archives accept only TIFF. This converter draws your SVG at the size set under Size (1×, 2× or 4× of the width and height in the file) and writes it as an uncompressed TIFF, with an alpha channel if the drawing has transparent areas.
Work out the pixel size
TIFF is a pixel format, so decide the size by the print size. At 300 dpi, a logo of 5 cm needs about 600 pixels, and one of 20 cm about 2400. If the SVG is 400 pixels wide, 4× gives 1600 pixels. Render a bit bigger than you need; the layout program can scale down cleanly.
Better for print: keep the vector
If the printer accepts PDF or SVG, a vector stays sharp at any size and is smaller. TIFF is the right choice when the workflow insists on pixels, for example when the file is placed in a layout that rasterises everything, or for an archive copy of an illustration.
Limits
The TIFF is RGB, not CMYK, and has no embedded colour profile; do colour conversion in your layout program if the printer wants it. Files are large because pixel data is stored without compression. For a smaller lossless copy, SVG to PNG is a good alternative, and PNG to TIFF can convert it later.
Frequently asked questions
Which size should the TIFF have for print?
Take the printed size in centimetres, divide by 2.54 and multiply by 300 for 300 dpi. A logo of 5 cm needs about 600 pixels.
Is the TIFF CMYK?
No, it is RGB. Convert to CMYK in your layout or photo editing program if the printer asks for it.
Is the transparency kept?
Yes, as an alpha channel. Check that the program you use can read TIFF transparency.
Is my SVG uploaded?
No. The TIFF is made in your browser, so the SVG never leaves your device. Logos and drawings of unreleased work are not sent anywhere. There is no limit on file size or number of files, apart from your device's memory.
