WebP to PSD converter
Convert WebP to PSD in your browser: your files are never uploaded, there is no limit on how many you convert, and transparency is kept as an alpha channel in a flat Photoshop file. Drop in one WebP or a whole batch and download the PSD files straight away.

Bring a web image into a design workflow
You downloaded a logo, product photo or graphic as WebP, but the template, mockup or editor you are working in asks for a PSD, or cannot open WebP. Converting to PSD gets the picture into a format that Photoshop, Photopea, GIMP, Krita and Affinity Photo all accept.
What you get
A flat PSD in RGB, with the WebP as one layer. If the WebP has a transparent background, the PSD carries it as an alpha channel, so the layer can be placed over a design right away. The converter does not create layers or masks, and it cannot add detail that the compressed WebP no longer has.
Check the size
Images on the web are often small. If you are going to enlarge the layer in a design, the picture will get soft. Look for the original or a larger version first, or accept a modest size. The PSD itself stores pixel data uncompressed, so even a small WebP gives a file many times its size.
Alternatives
If your editor opens PNG, WebP to PNG is much smaller and keeps transparency too. To remove a background before editing, use the background remover. For a JPG source, JPG to PSD works the same way.
Frequently asked questions
Is the transparency kept?
Yes, as an alpha channel in the PSD.
Can I get layers out of this?
No. A WebP has just one image, so the PSD has one layer.
Why is the PSD so much bigger than my WebP?
WebP compresses its pixels and the PSD stores them uncompressed.
Is my WebP uploaded?
No. The PSD is made in your browser, so the WebP never leaves your device. Images saved from the web stay as private as any other file on your device. There is no limit on file size or number of files, apart from your device's memory.
