Unicode to text converter
Turn Unicode code points back into text. U+00E9, é, \u{1F600}, é and é are all understood, also mixed in the same text. The conversion runs in your browser and nothing is uploaded.

Example
U+0048 U+0061 U+006C U+006C U+006F U+0020 U+00E9 U+1F600 becomes Hallo é😀. A text with several notations, such as é é U+1F600 \u{1F600}, becomes é é 😀 😀. The note reports how many codes were converted.

Frequently asked questions
Which notations are accepted?
`U+00E9`, `é`, `\u{1F600}`, `é` and `é`, even mixed in one text. Separate them by spaces or other text.
How are surrogate pairs handled?
Two \u escapes for an emoji, such as `😀`, are combined into the single character 😀. Typing `\u{1F600}` or `U+1F600` also works.
What does "is not a valid Unicode character" mean?
The number is outside the Unicode range, which ends at 10FFFF. `U+110000` is too large, and the tool says so.
Is the output the plain character?
Yes, the actual character, ready to copy. The note tells you how many codes were converted.
