Why is the factor 10.76 and not 3.28?
Area scales with the square of length. One metre is 3.28084 ft, so one square metre is 3.28084² ≈ 10.7639 ft².
How do I convert a price per m² to a price per ft²?
Multiply by 0.0929. A price of 3,500 per m² is about 325 per ft², and 300 per ft² is about 3,229 per m².
How big is an acre and a hectare?
An acre is 43,560 ft², which is 4,046.86 m². A hectare is 10,000 m², or 107,639 ft² and 2.471 acres.
Are US and UK square feet the same?
Yes, both use the international foot of 0.3048 m. The square foot is used for homes and offices, and the acre for land.
